    The band is comprised of Alex Herbert (Lead Vocals & Congas) & Greg Marsh (Lead Guitar, Sequencing & Vocals). After years in many succesful bands, Alex and Greg have focused their talents on making Duopoly a band for every occasion. Whether it be quiet easy-listening music or a full-on celebration that gets everyone up dancing, Duopoly has it covered. Book Duopoly and you can be assured of professionally high standards in production, performance and reliability, EVERY time.



    Biographies

    ALEX: Before coming to live in Australia, Alex Herbert lived in Dundee and performed for many years in pubs, clubs and corporate functions all over Scotland. For the past couple of years, he has been the front man for successful Brisbane five-piece club band 'Highway 409'.

    GREG: As well as playing lead guitar and singing several styles of music with many bands (including 'Highway 409') over past decades, Greg Marsh is a highly skilled music and video producer. Greg brings those production skills to producing the superb backing sequences that sets Duopoly apart.

    Where To See Duopoly

    As well as the Duopoly duo format, Alex and Greg also work with other musicians to make up a full five-piece band that plays at many venues other than the (Duopoly) gigs listed below.


    24 November 2018 (Saturday)- Mudgeraba RSL

    7pm until 11pm at the Mudgeraba RSL Club in the Gold Coast hinterland. Come to this great little country town and rock the night away with Duopoly.


    17 & 18 November 2018 (Saturday & Sunday)- Carrara Plant Show

    9am until 2pm (both days) at the Carrara Events Arena, Gold Coast. Come along and enjoy the wonderful plant show with music by Duopoly.


    10th November 2018 (Saturday) At St Andrew's Church Grounds Indooroopilly

    7pm until 11pm on the outside stage at St Andrew's. We will be performing a wide range of Rock 'n' Roll music and ballads from the 50s, 60s & beyond. Public welcome.


    8th November 2018 (Thursday) At Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich

    11am until 2pm in the new 'Lounge Bar'. After many months of building renovations at Brothers, we will be back performing a wide range of music for the 50s & 60s Rock 'n' Roll dancers, the linedancers and some great ballads from all eras up to the present. You may not wish to dance so early in the day, but you will enjoy the show.


    1 & 2 September 2018 (Saturday & Sunday)- Carrara Classic Car Show

    9am until 2pm (both days) at the Carrara Events Arena, Gold Coast. Come along and enjoy the fabulous display of classic cars and great music by Duopoly.

    Happy Birthday Craig. We know you and your "better half" love to dance to the music of the 60s, so we will be serving it up loud and clear.


    2nd March 2018 (Friday) The Inaugural Morris Art Prize Event.

    We will be performing from 6pm until 9pm at the (by ivitation only) launch of this fabulous Gold Coast art show. The show is open to the public all day Saturday and Sunday 3rd & 4th March 2018 and is well worth a visit to the Carrara Events Arena.


    7th January 2018 (Sunday) Carrara Stall Holders Annual Soirée

    This is an invitation only function (sorry).
